Xmas Celebration Tips and Cheats for Club Penguin

Samedi 19 décembre 2009

Hey everyone, the ClubPenguin Christmas Party 2009 has started on Clubpenguin. It's one of the biggest and most exicting parties each year. Almost all of the island is totally decorated with lots of holiday cheer and stuff. Almost all of the outside rooms and several of the inside rooms are decorated especially for the holiday and there are very nice hidden things and secrets for this year's Club Penguin Christmas Party.

First things first. The free item for the party this year is the Santa Hat. It's the same exact hat they gave out last year, but if you didn't get it then, go check it out. You can get the hat inside a big green box right in the middle of the Ski Village.

The next thing to take a look at is the special Santa's Workshop and Sled Ride over at the Night Club. Go to the top floor of the Night Club to see the Workshop in action. There are tons of conveyor belts carrying toys and getting them ready to go on Santa's Sleigh. If you are a paid member of Club Penguin, you can go up the staircase in the back of the room to get onto the roof and do the brand new Sleigh Ride mini-game. In this game, you ride on the sleigh through the night over rooftops. You need to press a big red button to drop toys into chimneys and if you can get 15 of them in you'll win the game and a very cool prize. The reward for winning the game is a full Santa Suit! It goes great with the free Santa Hat from the ski village and also the Santa beard from last year's party.

There are a lot of other places that have cool things to do for the Christmas Party on Clubpenguin. So much of the island is decorated with lots of very cool surprises.

There's also a concert at the lighthouse called Concert for Change. If you go inside, there's a stage with seating and a dance floor. There's some cool concert music playing too. We'll have to see if there's an official concert coming.

Want to see Santa Claus? Well, there's a big Santa chair up on the second floor of the coffee shop. It looks like those Santa meeting places in department stores. You can put on the Santa outfit you got from the sleigh ride along with the hat and beard and pretend to be Santa Claus.

The Dock features an ice skating pond that is frozen over. If you waddle over on top of it, you'll skate around just like you do on the Ice Rink.

Go to the mine to see the awesome gingerbread house. It's got tons of candy all over it.

The outside of the Dojo is decorated with hundreds of colored lights and the puffle statues out in front are wearing Santa Hats.

Of course, there's plenty more fun Christmas Party things to do and see. All you really need to do is wander around and take a look. The party is really fun this year so make sure you check it out before it ends.

Coins for Change and Rockhopper

Dimanche 13 décembre 2009

Rockhopper has returned to the island once more and the really fun Coins for Change event has started. And you'll see lots of construction going on all over the island as all the penguins are preparing for the Club Penguin Christmas Party, which starts next week.

Coins for Change has returned to Club Penguin for the third year and it works pretty much the same as before. You can visit any one of the Coins for Change collection stations found all around Club Penguin. This year, they're at the Plaza, the Town Center, the Beach (next to the lighthouse), the Ski Village, and inside the Migrator (Rockhopper's ship). And this year, you can buy your own collection station for your igloo if you're a member. You get it from Rockhopper's catalog. Clicking on any of the stations pops up a menu where you choose what cause you want to donate to and how many coins you'd like to give. There are three causes: poor kids, sick kids, and the environment. Donations are in the amounts of 50, 250 or 500 coins, but you can donate as many times as you want.

Kicking off everything is Captain Rockhopper, who just arrived in his ship, the Migrator. Head into the ship and go down to the hold to get to Rockhopper's stuff. He's brought a lot of new stuff this visit, including a tricorn hat, a silver bell and a Coins for Change Donation Station that you can place inside your own igloo. Everyone can get a free Coins for Change player card background.
